Star of The Voice, Sam Buttery, to perform at The Baths Hall, Scunthorpe

Sam Buttery, finalist from the original series of The Voice, has joined An Evening of Burlesque, which is coming to Scunthorpe on Saturday, 26 October.

The show is Britain’s biggest burlesque extravaganza, direct from London’s West End. This tour will unveil a fresh cast of burlesque all-stars for 2013.

After appearing in The Voice, Sam went on to star in the 2012/13 production of the musical Taboo. He played the part of performance artist, fashion designer and club promoter Leigh Bowery in the musical, a role originally performed by writer and producer of Taboo, Boy George. The part required Sam to shave his head and appear with a full head of make-up.

Prior to joining An Evening of Burlesque, Sam also appeared in the feature film Child 44 with Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy.
