Box Office Opening Hours

Tickets can be booked in person at The Plowright Theatre Box Office, Laneham Street, Scunthorpe, DN15 6JP or The Baths Hall Box Office, Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 7RG. The Box Offices are open Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 4pm. The Plowright Theatre Box Office is also open at 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.  The Box Office is open from one hour before show time, at the venue when a performance is taking place. For instance, for a show at The Baths Hall, the venue will open one hour before the scheduled start. 

Booking By Telephone

You can contact the Box Office by telephone on 0844 8542776. The phones are open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 6pm. Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.

You can also buy tickets from our website – We recommend you register or log-in before commencing your booking, particularly at times of high demand. 

Booking Fee

Tickets for events at The Baths Hall and The Plowright Theatre are subject to a booking fee. This applies to all sales routes and payment methods except for cash payments in person at the Box Office at time of booking. The booking fee charged per ticket pays for the technology infrastructure, telephone lines, credit/debit card processing services, distribution network, merchant charges, labour and other costs associated with arranging and managing ticket inventory and servicing a ticket transaction.

Concession Rates

Where these are available, concession rates can be claimed by full time students, unemployed, retired over 60s, disabled people and under 16s. Proof of eligibility will be required. Group and School Bookings Please enquire at the Box Office for possible discounts for parties of 10 or more and school groups.  Where patrons with disabilities need a carer to assist and attend an event, the combined cost will be equivalent to the full cost of 1 ticket. Forms need to be completed and approved before carer tickets can be sold. To join our Access Scheme you must be aged 16 or above. Please contact The Box Office for further details.

Posting Tickets

Tickets are usually posted to customers within a couple of weeks of purchase. However, in some cases tickets may not be despatched until a month prior to the event.  If you have not received your tickets three weeks before an event please contact The Box Office on 0844 8542776 or email Tickets ordered 14 days or closer to an event will not be posted out and will instead only be made available for collection from The Box Office.

Children Under 14 Policy

As a responsible entertainment venue, the safety and comfort of our patrons is paramount. This Duty of Care is particularly relevant when protecting minors under 14 years old; as such our policy is that all children under *14 years old must be accompanied by an adult, defined as someone 16+ years of age who will be present for the full duration of the event. For certain shows where the audience is both seated and standing, no one under 14 years old will be permitted AT ALL to stand on the auditorium floor. Parents should always be aware of their general responsibilities regarding their children’s safety in situations where they are outside their direct control, and indeed legislation detailing these responsibilities. * Unless photographic proof of age is supplied, staff will make a judgement based on visual appearance prior to entry.

Show Timings

Show timings are subject to continual update. We endeavour to provide accurate show times however we strongly advise that you check the timings nearer to the show date, these can be found on our website and are posted via our social media channels on the day of the show, along with any amendments. All times are subject to change.

Terms and conditions of sale

Tickets should be checked at the time of purchase as mistakes cannot be rectified later. Once purchased, tickets can only be refunded in line with our terms and conditions; under normal circumstances this is only when an event is cancelled. Terms and conditions can be read in full HERE
